Live and Learn
Six months ago, a hacker vandalized my previous site. He got in through the open-source theme I used, and I lost all my blogs and comments. Bluehost, where my site resides, added an extra layer of security, and I began rebuilding the site from scratch. I chose the newest, most secure theme WordPress offers: a block theme they designed. On the positive side, I haven’t lost any information from my email list, and MailerLite, my email provider, is as secure as the internet can be.
I will continue to write a short story every month for my email list, which you can join via the home page. I will have the contact page built within a few days, and I welcome your comments on the site or the books.
I am also building a storefront where you can buy my books directly from Lady’s Slipper Books, which will own the store. They will offer deals such as book bundles, special pricing, and occasionally giveaways. All books will be available as ebooks, PDFs, hardcovers, softcovers, and audiobooks. They will also be available at selected retail outlets.
